Hello, my family moved from Island Pond shortly after I was born. My father, Edward Sanderson, was the coach of the boy's basketball team in the early 60's when the team won the State Championship. I am looking for anyone who can share stories and/or memories of him. My children would love to hear about their grandfathers history. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I love to hike. Being a member of the GMC-NEK section of the Green Mountain Club we meet at the railroad station in Island Pond. From there we begin and end our outings. Simon the Tanner is a great place to shop - just about every thing you need can be found there. Bessie's Diner is a jump up place to eat in as well as the Friendly Pizza for a quick lunch to take with you on the outing. Island Pond is a country town that offers a visitor a good view of the Northeast Kingdom as well as a great fun-loving and friendly place to have some fun in.

hey I miss all my friends in IP and of coarse my parents. the ZOO lol buck & doe and kipps resturant. the house is sold and i miss IP. i will get back there soon happy holidays everyone. yes I know i have been gone a while.
