Loved I.P. used to go snowmobiling on the pond in
winter with the Glassons. Great folks. Wonderful area for hunting/fishing etc. Great black flies too! But the people were the best. Want to visit
again. Love to hear from anyone who remembers me.
Thanks. |

| My father Leo was born in Island pond, and also my brother Herbert. Was told his father Frank and brother (NAME UNKNOWN) owned and sold cars there. (BRIGHTON GARAGE)Parents good friend Alice Sloan worked at immigraton office located in train station. We also lived there for a few years (VERY YOUNG) Enjoy coming back to show my children, and now grandchildren and share the great memories !!! |

| I went to see this nice town, 9th June 2010. I went to do some search about my grand-grand-mother (Connolly) who stayed there in 1860; she worked at The Old Island Pond House! We have been able to see the Museum; it was very interesting. We also went to the municipal library and the people there, was very nice and kind to help us. |
